A talk by Jack Perks Wildlife Media – “Source to Sea, with a focus on Chalk Streams”
Join BBC’s “Fish Twitcher” Jack Perks for a stunning visual journey through Britain’s rivers from wild headwaters to the open sea, with a special spotlight on our rare and beautiful chalk streams.
Best known for his seven-year quest to film all 54 British freshwater fish species, Jack’s work has featured on BBC Springwatch, The One Show and Wild Isles. Expect breathtaking footage, fascinating stories, and a passion for rivers that’s truly infectious.
Get Involved Locally
After the talk, meet the East Mercia Rivers Trust team to learn how you can support local river conservation through volunteering, habitat restoration, or water quality monitoring.
Whether you’re a fish nerd, nature nerd, or a keen angler, this is a great chance to connect with others who care about rivers and discover how your interests can help protect them.
